Project Z report

Project Z is a youth-led project tackling real-life issues through an interdisciplinary approach. It enables young people from scientific backgrounds to collaborate with those from policy and humanities backgrounds.

Project Z has been designed and led by Leaders Unlocked intern, Abdul-Moiz Siddiqi. This report outlines the key findings from the pilot phase, which addressed the issue of the COVID-19 recovery for Britain.

"Leaders Unlocked has become a really critical partner. The great thing about it is the peer-to-peer aspect and the way the young people use their networks to reach out to a large number of young people. The reach has been phenomenal - across schools, colleges, hostels. We have dealt with many difficult issues, from stop and search to knife crime."
