Nottinghamshire Youth Commission

The 2018 report from the pioneering Nottinghamshire Youth Commission details the findings and recommendations from peer-to-peer research with over 2,000 young people across Nottinghamshire during 2016-18. The report explores 6 key priority topics selected by Youth Commissioners: Night-time Safety; Confidence & Diversity in the Police; Hate Crime; Sexual Offences; Rehabilitation; Education & Crime Prevention. It also contains testimonials from the Police and Crime Commissioner, Chief Constable, and the young people involved in the project.

"Leaders Unlocked has become a really critical partner. The great thing about it is the peer-to-peer aspect and the way the young people use their networks to reach out to a large number of young people. The reach has been phenomenal - across schools, colleges, hostels. We have dealt with many difficult issues, from stop and search to knife crime."
