North Yorkshire Youth Commission Final Report

This final report from the North Yorkshire Youth Commission details the findings and recommendations from peer-to-peer research with over 1,600 young people across North Yorkshire. The report explores 6 key priority topics selected by Youth Commissioners: Drug Abuse and Legal Highs; Cyber-bullying and Online Safety; Hate Crime; Vulnerable Young People; Preventing Youth Crime; Relationships with the Police. It also contains testimonials from the Police and Crime Commissioner, North Yorkshire Police, and the young people involved in the project.

"We’ve been involved in peer engagement work with Leaders Unlocked. The young leaders we worked with engaged with over 100 service users in custody. We have been so impressed with the work. We are engaging with the young adults as colleagues, and the fact that they are former service users is almost secondary. The most important thing is the high quality work they are delivering."
